Courier Gold’s Mission:
Our mission is to provide you with an educated choice of the most price competitive and professional companies in your selected area. We want you to save time and money when searching for and finally selecting the correct service provider
Q1: What is Courier Gold?
A: We provide a website portal open to couriers and customers via a membership system. Once you become a member you are entitled to full access to the system. We help you start saving time & money by providing you with access for quotations for your business to select from.
Q2: How do I become a courier member?
A: Just open the home page and select the 'courier membership option'. Complete the enrol details, create payment then, forward copies of your valid "e;Goods in Transit"e; and "e;Public Liability"e; insurance policies (scan, email or send by post). Once we receive these, you are a member.
Q3: Why do couriers need to send their policies?
A: We only allow courier members that have confirmed legal coverage. Policies are checked and confirmed by Courier Gold, thus reassuring all members that couriers have been pre-vetted.
Q4: How does a customer become member?
A: Simply open the home page and select the 'customer membership option'. Once you have completed the enrolment details and created payment, membership is instant.
Q5: Why do customers have to pay a membership fee?
A: A yearly payment to us not only allows you unlimited access to thousands of same-day couriers, but also pallet transport companies and international import and export agents. A low membership fee will result in a healthy return to your own business overheads, sometimes in as little time as day one.
Our Once You Become A Member
Step 1 - Same Day
The specifications of the order are inputted by the customer; for example, collection and delivery postcodes, times goods will be ready for release, when they must be collected and delivered, the type of vehicle required and a short description of the goods. Once completed, the order will be relayed to all couriers within the selected postcode. These couriers will then call customers directly with their quotations.
Step 2 - UK Pallets
Again, the order is placed onto the system by the customer (see step 1). The order is then relayed to all couriers who have joined the pallet quotations system. The couriers will reply to you directly online with their cost. This is captured in the history file in the format of 'top ten entries'. Once the customer selects which courier they'd like to use, they will make direct contact to arrange the movement.
Step 3 - European Pallets
The order is placed onto the system- much in the same way as the UK pallets- except that the delivery postcode is replaced with country of delivery. Couriers will also receive and respond via an online quotation, viewable within the senders' login area. Quotations are listed in a 'top ten' format sorted by cost. Courier selection can be based upon cost or delivery speed, as a couple of examples.
Step 4 - International import & Export
The order is placed onto the system as previously described; however this could be for anything from a small envelope or a large pallet. This is then forwarded to couriers based in the required collection postcode. Couriers will also receive and respond in an online quotation, which is viewable within the senders' login area. Again, quotations are listed in a 'top ten' format.
